Duties will include:
- Assist in providing high quality administrative support to the area including routine office clerical duties
- Accurately and effectively input and update data records within the directorate’s areas of responsibility
- Effectively and efficiently process all relevant documentation for cross-college provision, and maintain appropriate records to meet claims
- Maintain a sound knowledge of the department’s procedures and processes
- Assist the team with carrying out departmental duties
- Ensure that the processing and storage of all learner’s related data is compliant with relevant legislation and is fully secure at all times
- Undertake training and professional development to develop a high level of expertise within the role
- To demonstrate a customer focussed approach at all times
- Undertake duties as required within the Planning and Information Services Directorate

Desired qualifications
- GCSEs at grades A*-C/9-4 (or equivalent) in maths and English
- A good general standard of education including at least 5 GCSEs at grades A*-C/9-4 (or equivalent)
- A level 2 IT qualification (or equivalent) is desirable.
- A willingness to work towards a Level 2 qualification in Customer Service is essential
Future prospects
There may be an opportunity for permanent employment on successful completion of the apprenticeship.
