Responsibilities will include:
- Select (within limits) materials and equipment
- Writing reports
- Inspecting and testing electrical installations and diagnosing and rectifying faults on a range of circuits and equipment
- Keeping tools and work area clean and tidy
- Making sure that Health and Safety is at the forefront of everything you do
- Terminating armoured and non-armoured Cables
- Applying resin to Cable joints
- Assist with statutory testing
- Installing cut outs
- Undertaking any other duties and responsibilities as required
- Dealing with domestic, commercial and industrial electrics where required
- Wiring of smoke detectors
- Working at heights (ladders)

Future prospects
The advertised Apprentice wage will increase yearly or upon completion of progressive stages. After initially qualifying, you could go on to supervisory roles, senior management positions or even running your own business.
Things to consider
Must be able to drive and have transport to be able to drive to different sites (due to the nature of the role). 1 vacancy is in Hereford 1 vacancy is in Worcester.
