Due to continued business success and growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an apprentice to join Vape Dinner.

Main Duties

Administrative Duties

  • Ensuring accurate records are maintained.
  • Attend meetings when required to support with note taking.
  • Diary Management and co-ordinating meetings when required ensuring attendees are invited and seating arrangements such as table plans are prepared and signed off in advance.
  • Responsible for taking and screening all incoming calls and resolving initial point of contact telephone queries where possible.
  • Able to adhere to and support the ongoing adherence to Group policies/process/procedures.
  • Able to support with queries and ongoing tasks from across the Group, with a strong business specific understanding.

Training & Development Support

  • Administrative support when training exercises have been arranged.
  • Co-ordinating the schedule along with calendar invitations to speakers and attendees.
  • Seating plans
  • Arranging materials required
  • General support to ensure the training exercise runs to schedule

Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

  • Excellent timekeeping, presentation and organisational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong IT skills including: Word, Excel and Outlook, along with typing and keyboard skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels and departments across the Group, up to and including the Executive Board (this includes external relationships)

Personal qualities

  • Excellent telephone manner (confident, friendly and professional), clearly spoken and experienced in communicating with a diverse range of people (some of which may be vulnerable clients)
  • A meticulous eye for detail and accuracy
  • Ability to effectively work in a fast-paced and changing environment whilst maintaining a calm and professional manner always
  • Able to demonstrate a high level of customer care

Desired qualifications

GCSEs at grades A*-C/9-4 (or equivalent) in maths and English.

Future prospects

Possible permanent position for the right candidate.
