    Time working on events outside standard office hours to be taken in lieu - 7 hour working day. Normal office hours 8.30am - 4.30pm with an hour for lunch. Overtime to be paid at hourly rate - 20 days holiday. Days TBC.

Duties will include:

  • The successful applicant would work alongside the event planners and operational team to learn about theming, budgeting, planning, finance, operations and delivery of events and experiences
  • Work in collaboration with all departments to provide a customer focused, quality experience working to the required standards, operating procedures and policies whilst supporting the wider team
  • To take ownership of smaller scale prop and decorative purchasing from agreeing concepts, research of best options and quality control of deliveries
  • Support events throughout the year by being part of the event crew. Involves room and event set ups to the required standard, moving furniture and equipment, setting the rooms and greeting and directing guests
  • Work effectively with external suppliers supplying good and services for events
  • Ensure that all storage areas are clean, tidy and in accordance with H&S and hygiene requirements
  • Support the office management and creative teams to complete any associated administrative duties
  • Attend internal and external customer meetings as required
  • Ensure high levels of personal presentation at all times
  • Ultimate goal, to take ownership of a specific project. From customer brief, budgeting, concept, delivery and review

A potential full-time position on successful completion of the apprenticeship.

Things to consider

  • The PS office is in the Warwickshire countryside, so the apprentice will need to be able to drive to work or be able to get to work to arrive on time
  • Events are run locally and across the country, so the apprentice will be expected to travel with the company and work out of regular hours in a variety of environments, indoor and outdoor
