The apprentice will work within a multi-skilled team to understand all functions within Itel Electronics Ltd. Our professional service and high quality products have established Itel Electronics as a market leader in cable harness design, cable assemblies and wiring harness manufacture.

Working closely within the Aerospace, Defence and Commercial markets, we have gained a high reputation for our design innovation and rapid response within the wiring harness manufacture industry and are proud to have a selection of well-established clients.

The apprentice will work within a multi-skilled team to understand all functions within Itel Electronics Ltd, key areas of work will include:

  • Using and preparing different materials for assembly and the techniques used
  • Working within the assembly and learning and using the different components
  • Learning and understanding the requirements of Quality Inspection
  • Gaining knowledge and skills of the design process
  • Gaining skills and knowledge of creating prototypes and understanding the customer requirements

Desired qualifications

 Minimum of 5 GCSEs, (or equivalent) at grade C/5 or better, to include English, maths and Science.

You will be required to show evidence of your achievements prior to starting the apprenticeship.

Future prospects

On completion, the Apprentice would be a fully qualified Electrical Design Engineer.

Please be aware the interview for this vacancy will include a work experience placement before a successful candidate will be selected.
