At Fastbolt we have an exciting opportunity to provide a supporting role to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for administrative support to all departments in a range of areas from pricing calculations, to exporting documentation and the production of monthly KPI reports. You will also help with initial IT support for our staff.

This is a varied role with many different activities, however, the main responsibilities are as follows:

  • Carry out initial problem analysis and implement fixes to hardware or software issues or report on to third party support if required
  • Assist the Warehouse in the administration of the Warehouse management system and freight carrier systems
  • Prepare customs export documentation for freight carriers
  • Generate and distribute monthly and weekly reports to different departments and management teams
  • Be responsible for the ordering of all office supplies
  • To install and configure new IT equipment
  • To help develop staff knowledge and enable users to become more self-sufficient with the computer systems by providing them with staff training, business procedure manuals and help sheets
  • To support the company’s long-term objectives and carry out other tasks that may be reasonably requested in line with the position

You will also help maintain software systems by:

  • Creating and amending system records and settings (SAP ERP)
  • Updating information on the company’s internal software applications and online store (FBonline)
  • Implementing changes to the format and layout of company documentation
  • There is potential to develop internal programs/reports for other departments

  • To be familiar working with Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise own workload
  • Effective level of communication skills with the ability to deal pleasantly and efficiently with customers and colleagues at all levels

  • Keen to learn new IT software and applications

  • English and maths at Grade 4/C and above
