- Record daily notes to a high standard, handing over information to Senior members
- Observe, report, and record any changes of behaviour, health or mood
- Maintain the cleanliness of the home to highest possible standard
- To understand and comply with all statutory and legal requirements such as Health & Safety, COSHH, all aspects of the CARE Act
- Understand, implement and monitor good infection practices are applied
- Ensure all care practice is delivered on your shift in accordance with company procedures, best practice and CQC requirements up to date through current best practice and research and staff training
- Maintain confidentiality of all information relating to residents care
- Supporting the nurse
- Deliver direct personal care as required, in a timely and accurate manner in the care plans and assessments
- To deliver care as specified on the care plans, monitor its effectiveness, adjusting this accordingly
- Take responsibility for high standards of documentation for named key resident and resident groups
- Review and maintain plans of care and other records with resident or representative on a monthly basis, or when changes take place
