Our Apprenticeship programme will teach many different skills, which will allow you to work in different fields within the business industry.
Roles with consist of:
- Telephone skills
- Managing information and data
- Employee rights and responsibilities (ERR)
- Marketing support
- Principles of leadership and management
Duties:
- Reception and telephone answering
- Data entry into management information systems
- General administration
- Invoicing/receipts and cash handling
Requirements and prospects
Desired skills
- Able to work independently and without direct supervision
- Able to take direction from different people, and effectively prioritise and manage workload
- Able to work constructively as part of a team, understanding roles and responsibilities, and one’s own position within the team
- Professional, organised and attention to detail
- ICT and knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience of working in a support capacity with young people
- Experience of working with staff at all levels
Personal qualities
- Prior work experience desired, but not essential
- Enthusiastic and have an interest in working in a professional office environment
- Reliable, committed and punctual attitude
- Previous customer service experience desirable although not essential
- Polite and professional
Desired qualifications
- 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) grade A*-C/9-4, including English and maths (or equivalent, Level 2 Functional Skills in both subjects)

- Potential to be given the full-time position within the school
- Being promoted into a more responsible role if candidate proves themselves in the working environment

This training programme focuses on developing administration skills.
The Qualification aims to grow your existing skillset in the following key areas:

- Supporting the organisation of events
- Customer service
- Developing IT skills
- Telephone skills
- Managing information and data
- Employee rights and responsibilities (ERR)
- Marketing support
All candidates take part in an initial intense training programme at the start of the selection process.
During this period our experienced staff will prepare candidates for their placements by giving them the foundations that they will need for securing a placement.
Our employability team will also be on hand to support with interview skills ready for a placement interview.
