Main duties:

  • To work as a good team member alongside our friendly and caring team. To support them with making sure the environment is simulation and exciting in order to encourage and support the development of children
  • To plan, organise and carry out planned activities for children. You will have a small key-group which will be supported with your mentor at all times
  • Join in with children play using good communication throughout and extending their learning
  • Support with settling in new children and interacting with parents and maintaining good communications
  • To maintain children’s records and carry out observations with full support from mentor- ensuring children are developing accordingly
  • Making sure the environment is safe, clean and tidy throughout the day. Supporting staff to set up the room and tuff trays at the start of each day and to tidy/clean the rooms to a high standard at the end of each day
  • Attend training when needed
  • Attend regular team meetings/team activities
  • Ensure all policies and procedures are followed and implemented in the setting
  • To always maintain confidentiality within the setting

  • Term-Term only based nursery- 2 setting based in Watford
  • Lots of training provided to all staff

  • Monday to Thursday 7.45am-4.30pm
  • Fridays 7.45am- 12.30pm
  • Level 3 depending on prior experience
