The chef will be working under our head chef & will become proficient in all areas of the kitchen: 

  • Preparation for lunch time service, short order cooking, salad/sandwich/panini station
  • Allergy awareness
  • The logging of temperature information, stock taking / ordering
  • Comprehensive training in how to use the Rational over for both cooking & cleaning 
  • Presentation of the food before it leaves the kitchen 
  • All aspects of cleaning in a kitchen from stainless steel work surfaces
  • Hoods, filters, griddle, fryer, microwaves etc, dishwasher, walls, floors in fact any job that is required to maintain a Level 5 Kitchen
  • Thorough training in the production of the homemade specials both savoury & sweet
