Us …
At Woo’d we are passionate about all thing’s meal prep.
We cook three menus on a rotation covering a variety of cuisines.
Cook days are currently Monday & Thursday from our premises @elitefitness in Shaw
We also provide a bespoke catering service for external events

Passionate about food and driven to provide exceptional standards you must be a flexible team player ideally with some catering experience / catering college background… the role is full time and will involve some weekend work

  • The role will entail food preparation and cooking as part of a team to produce our high standard meal prep 
  • Customer service – serving meals and taking payment for them
  • There will be some cleaning and administration involved as part of the role also

The Package

We will develop and grow our team member giving them knowledge and skills to perform within the
role. There will be targets set and the opportunity to earn bonus payments if the targets are achieved.

We will expect our team to work occasional weekends to support external events that we cater for however this is negotiable… The roster would be discussed and open to negotiation. The team currently work on Saturday mornings to prepare for the following week… this again would be negotiable. The role would require some early mornings –
7am starts.

  • Planning/Good Organisation: Following instruction from the manager and working efficiently towards shared goals to achieve optimum results and exceptional standards
  • Responsibility: Being accountable for your actions – being on time and working to schedule

  • Flexibility: There will be a degree of flexibility required in terms of working hours and role requirements. As an exciting new team we all muck in to ensure that targets are met – this is rewarded Problem-solving: Thinking on your feet to resolve any issues quickly and efficiently
  • Teamwork: We are a  vibrant team and we expect everyone within the group to work in a professional manner to make sure that the tasks can be competed…supporting each other working towards shared goals.

Desired qualifications

Have achieved or be working towards a catering /cooking qualification.

Future prospects

As a relatively new business which is flourishing – we want our team to grow and develop with us. The hope is that whoever we work with would develop into an autonomous worker / manager who can look after the business and eventually lead their own team.
