Qube Learning are working in partnership with The Princes Trust on a new Health Care Sector project for 16-30 year olds, the age restriction is due to the Prince's Trust funding mandate however any candidate aged 18 or over (due to nature of the role) may apply, but only those who fall into the above age group will be considered for the Princes Trust as well. This project is designed to help people into any role within the sector.

Your apprenticeship will be completed 100% at the workplace.

About the Role:
Southwold House is a large, pleasant house, five minutes’ walk from the seafront and Leigh-on-Sea town. A residential service providing support for people with learning disabilities and complex needs. It has seven en-suite bedrooms in the main house and four, self-contained one-bedroom flats with private access.
Southwold will offer a range of living options to suit varied needs, including physical disabilities and behaviours which others might find challenging in a safe, supportive setting.
You’ll be responsible for supporting an inclusive lifestyle within the community as individuals attend local colleges or day trips out. Develop greater independence and daily living skills by assisting with the upkeep of the service, preparing meals, shopping and domestic duties. Providing help with personal care such as washing, bathing and dressing whilst working across various shift patterns including early, late and weekend or night shifts. Full time and part time positions are available.
