The role is everything digital marketing, so let's think about what it will include:

  • Facebook reach
  • Work actually across all social platforms
  • Look for new platforms to break into that add value and yield results
  • Working with leading industry publications
  • Blogging, including content creations, scheduling and planning
  • Social exposure
  • Social Calendar scheduling and planning
  • To take control of email marketing campaigns (we use Get Response)

Day-to-day my apprentice will be doing:
Refining and publishing posts to blog and social, creating engaging email marketing, reviewing results from campaigns and learning what went great and where we can improve across the social landscape. Posting to industry blog sites and generally spreading the good work and good repute of MOT Juice and its products.

Desired skills

These skills are highly desirable, however not essential for the right motivated candidate as the development will be given in the role.

Excellent command of the English language and an understanding of the ‘marketing speech’ totally focused on product exposure and driving calls to action. You will be an effective communicator, visually, orally and cursively. You will have an eye for catchy design in respect of marketing materials and should possess the skills to mock-up or even deliver such materials across a range of platforms including Canva, Photoshop and others. Your attention to detail will be obsessive and your output will blow us away with quality. You will possess a forward-looking and happy outgoing nature coupled with an incredible work-ethic and be able to work to tight deadlines in an ever-changing landscape adapting to each and every requirement of the business or the markets we work in. Your key traits will be a Dynamic Workflow, Success drive and your ability to deliver results consistently.

Personal qualities

Your natural resting state will be Happy, Interested and Productive with a keen eye as to how other businesses are advancing and using digital marketing, you will be eager to learn and evolve and take an interest in what others are doing in your field, you will, over time, make yourself an indispensable asset. 

Desired qualifications

At least 5 x GCSEs (A*- C), or equivalent, including maths and English (Grades 4-9) are essential.

Must have good IT and Digital skills.

Future prospects

92% of our employers keep their apprentices after completion of the apprenticeship.

Ongoing employment for the right candidate if circumstances allow. (Most of our apprentices work hard, achieve their apprenticeship qualification, develop sought-after skills and are then employed on an ongoing basis after their apprenticeship).

Apprentices will receive a mixture of on and off the job training in addition to monthly sessions with a Training Coach. Training will be provided at our Training Centre in Brighton and our Training Coaches will offer support and guidance in the workplace where apprentices will gain on-the job experience to build the necessary skills, knowledge and behaviours they need to begin their career in Digital Marketing.

​The Apprenticeship includes:

  • BCS Certificate in Marketing Principles
  • BCS Certificate in Principles of Coding
  • Google Analytics IQ

Portfolio:

Apprentices will be required to build a portfolio of evidence of workplace activities to demonstrate that they have achieved the required level of skills and knowledge for the qualification programme.

​Functional Skills:

English and maths Level 2 - if GCSE Grade C or above, (level 4-9) has not already been achieved.
