Multiple vacancies are available for experienced Highway Maintenance operatives to support our gangs from carrying out pothole and patching repairs to sweeper and hot box drivers as well as minor civils works.
Full industry accredited training will be provided with opportunities to progress to supervisor roles.
What we are looking for? Candidates interested in:
- Experience in Highways Maintenance
- Experience is asphalt – hand lay or machine lay
- Experience lifting ironworks
- Experience replacing or renewing kerbs & flags

Work their way through a team by ganging more experience and becoming a skilled operative, a team leader and then a Supervisor.
Things to consider
Ideally looking for drivers and candidates who already have a CSCS card or are willing to get one.

L2 Highway Maintenance Support Apprenticeship
Highways Maintenance Skilled Operatives work for a variety of companies within the private sector (Utilities Companies, such as Electric, Gas and Water firms) and the public sector (Local Authorities, County Councils and Highways England).
Apprentices are supported by a tutor whilst at college, assessment in the workplace and with regular reviews between the employer, tutor, and apprentice to discuss progress and achievements.
