Day to Day Duties: 

  • Act as the first point of contact for visitors 
  • Provide hospitality as required 
  • Manage and re-direct visitors as appropriate 
  • Accurate diary keeping, awareness of appointments and visitors Receive and redirect telephone calls, including listening, acting on and clearing answerphone messages 
  • Receive and redirect emails 
  • Undertake accurate copy and word-processing of correspondence Distribute correspondence to staff via pigeon holes daily 
  • Operate reprographic equipment as required. Ensure it is ready for others to use including arranging for equipment repairs and servicing Maintain tidy work station/office at all times 
  • General admin 
  • Sign off deliveries and distribute

The role will involve contact with staff, parents, pupils and visitors to the school. 
This is a key role in the school providing effective communication throughout the organisation and local community.
