This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidates to complete an apprenticeship which will include vocational training, study and work and will eventually lead to a qualification as a skilled craftsperson.
The successful candidate will be expected to perform a wide range of duties covering all aspects of carpentry & joinery maintenance applicable to the trade and day to day reactive maintenance.
The chosen candidate's duties include (but are not limited to):
- Install door and window frames
- Install structures and fixtures, such as windows and molding
- Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures
- Instruct and direct laborers and other construction helpers
