Michael Brady Ltd. are seeking an enthusiastic carpentry apprentice to assist skilled technicians conducting maintenance work in carpentry and joinery.

Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

Level 2 (GCSE)
This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidates to complete an apprenticeship which will include vocational training, study and work and will eventually lead to a qualification as a skilled craftsperson.
The successful candidate will be expected to perform a wide range of duties covering all aspects of carpentry & joinery maintenance applicable to the trade and day to day reactive maintenance.
The chosen candidate's duties include (but are not limited to):
- Install door and window frames
- Install structures and fixtures, such as windows and molding
- Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures
- Instruct and direct laborers and other construction helpers
Requirements and prospects
- Good communication skills
- Good attention to detail
- Good time-keeping skills
- Health and Safety aware/conscious
The ideal candidate will have some previous Carpentry knowledge
Potential for this to develop into a permanent role on completion of the apprenticeship.
