Why the job exists:

The Student Brands team is offering this exciting opportunity for an aspiring marketer to learn the craft and gain invaluable experience working exciting B2C projects. The apprentice will support the team in achieving their goals by taking ownership of key channels to communicate with our audience and nurturing our relationship with our student audience. This will feed into Net Natives’ overarching research objectives by cultivating a diverse, engaged panel for the Student Pulse.

How the job is done:

The apprentice will support the Student Brands team in our student recruitment objectives and nurture our B2C audience by writing and editing relevant content and newsletters and engaging them via social media, promoting our articles, offers, and competitions. All of this will be done with the underpinning goal of growing our engaged panel audience to support our research objectives. The ideal candidate will be a focused, motivated individual who abides by our ABC values and knows exactly what they want to get out of this apprenticeship.

We’re seeking a motivated individual who’s keen to learn a craft and has a solid grasp of the issues facing students today to support and engage our Gen Z audience.

Accountable

● Prepared to take full responsibility for the successful implementation of our 2022 social media strategy, seeing projects through to completion.

● Responsible for drafting and sending Student Hut’s monthly newsletter, as well as marketing emails from our other B2C brands.

● Measuring the impact of our content, emails, and social media comms across our student brands, using Google Analytics and other tools.

● Collaborate with the Student Brands team and other business departments to work towards our company objectives. Brave

● Confidence to use your authentic voice in content and communications.

● Stand up for what is right and support just causes through your work. Curious

● An inquisitive nature who’s keen to learn about the world of student marketing and ready to question the way things are.

● Demonstrate a genuine appetite for learning throughout the apprenticeship, with a desire to apply skills learned to the role.

Desired qualifications

Degree-level education or relevant qualification in marketing (e.g. CIM certified) is desirable, but not essential.

GCSE C/4 or above or equivalent in Literacy & Numeracy Skills.

Digital and Content Producer Apprentice

Digital and Content Producer Apprentice. You will be provide core digital support across a range of key digital areas including web content management, content creation (using Adobe indesign and photoshop), social media, mailchimp and  other apps for ensuring the smooth running of the company with a focus on producing brilliant content
