Job Description:

To contribute in the efficient and effective operation and maintenance of the warehouse. 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Keep warehouse clean & tidy
  • Receive and process Goods inwards , cross check against Purchase orders
  • Liaison with Purchase Dept. regarding discrepancies and queries 
  • Locate and ensure stock is held in correct location
  • Process goods outwards - ensure correct despatch of orders, pick orders against pick notes, and check quantities and quality
  • Pack & prepare orders suitable for despatch, UK & Export
  • Use of computer to print shipping/courier labels and marks 
  • Use of computer to process courier delivery notes
  • Annual stocktaking 
  • Any other duties which may be reasonably required

Position: Apprentice Warehouse Operative.

  • Salary:  £11k – 13K p.a. dependent on experience        
  • Holiday: 25 days + Statutory Bank Holidays pro rata 
  • Pension: Workplace Scheme: up to 5% matched contribution     
  • Hours of work:  Monday to Friday, 8.00 am to 4.30 pm 
  • Training : NVQ Qualifications
