Working Week:
During Wok School Training: 09:00 – 18:00, Monday to Friday.
Upon completion of Wok School Training: variable hours, Monday to Sunday, Min 20 hours, Max 48 hours

Job Description:

  • Our Wok Chefs are responsible for cooking consistently great, authentic Thai food for our guests
  • As well as prepare curries, stir fries, and noodle dishes
  • Wok Chefs also cook our starter dishes using the grill and fryer
  • They also help in the preparation of food for service, including the cutting of vegetables and meat, and the pre-cooking of chicken
  • During service our Wok Chefs occasionally assist with the packaging of Deliveroo orders and ensuring that all dishes leave the kitchen fast, but done right
  • Our Wok Chefs share their knowledge so that others can learn from the experts, and they taste all food to make sure they love it and know it

Daily Tasks Include:

  • Cutting vegetables and meat in preparation for service.
  • Pre-cooking chicken for service
  • Making of sauces for curries
  • Putting away of deliveries
  • Cooking all dishes from the wok section during service (curries, stir fries, noodle and rice dishes)
  • Cooking dishes from the grill and fryer sections (if required)
  • Maintaining and cleaning of the wok station and kitchen

Desired skills

Previous kitchen experience is preferred, but not essential. All training will be provided on the job.

Personal qualities

Must be kind-hearted and hard-working, but most importantly a food lover.

 This means that you treat others with respect and care, do tasks fast but done right, and are happy to taste every dish on our menu.
