Responsibilities will include:

  • Delivery Notes – to enter delivery notes matching to the order and invoice
  • Purchase Invoices – Enter on sage accounts system and match to the delivery note
  • Scan – Invoices are scanned and saved to a central folder
  • Reconciliation – Each day print the daybook and match the invoices for review
  • Filing – Invoices are filed in the job file
  • Cheques – Manual cheques are written each afternoon, photocopied and filed
  • Subcontractors – Invoices are registered on a spreadsheet ready for processing. Then after review they are entered on to Sage
  • Sales Invoices – Invoices are entered on to Sage through Job Costing

This list is not exhaustive, there is also an opportunity for expansion of the role.

The successful candidate will be required to successfully learn and process accurately the day-to-day transactions of the purchase ledger, subcontract ledger together with any manual cheques and the input of sales invoices.

  • If you already have AAT Level 2 (or equivalent) then you will be considered for a Level 3 apprenticeship position
