We are looking for someone who has a passion for print and a desire to learn and develop a career in a busy and hi-tech environment. We are the paper geeks who love to get our clients marketing needs organised through the technical minefield that is the printing industry.

We would love to have someone who is happy to talk to people, well organised and can multi-task. We can teach you the technical stuff, but this is one of the most dynamic roles in the business, bouncing from one job to another keeping all those plates spinning!

Our days are varied and always different. You will learn how to use management information systems to estimate, progress orders, proof jobs, and communicate, building relationships with clients.

You will be expected to work as part of a team within the production admin environment.

Customer contact dealing with queries, arranging dates and delivery slots should be expected.

Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

  • Successful candidates will be willing to learn our procedures and management systems
  • Should already have a good understanding of how to use windows operating systems, Microsoft office 365 and be proficient in excel and Word
  • Microsoft outlook will be one of your most used software’s so know it inside and backwards
  • Enjoy talking to customers
  • Good Communicator
  • Good maths skills are also a great advantage

Personal qualities

  • Multi-task with a good memory
  • Quick to learn, interested in print, ability to adapt to new situations, able to work as a team, attention to detail is essential

Desired qualifications

Minimum 4 GCSEs - Grade 4 or above, including English and Maths or equivalent preferable but not essential depending on skills.

Good verbal and written communication is a MUST as you will be corresponding with clients.

Future prospects

Upon completion of the apprenticeship this role will be a full time career. 

Things to consider

Phase is located in an urban area whilst there are busses, they are less frequent. Hours of work may vary depending on workload and bus times.
