The purpose of the role will be to help maximise sales by establishing excellent relationships with existing and new customers to assist in the achievements of the branch sales and profit targets. 

The successful applicant will work as part of a team dealing with a variety of sectors, predominantly automotive. The range of customer enquiries is very wide and contact is both at the counter and over the phone. 

The main duties for the role will be:

  • To maximise sales for the branch
  • Handle parts requirements of customers through counter service and sales
  • To service customers promptly and efficiently, ensuring all parts are supplied and invoiced correctly
  • To work within a team and to communicate and liaise with other team members
  • To attend meetings and undertake training and personal development as and when instructed

The successful candidate will be supported with a Customer Service level 2 apprenticeship, delivered by Mercuri International.

The programme will be 12 months long and delivered one to one, with the apprentice being assigned their own dedicated Mercuri coach.
