We are looking for an Early Years Practitioner to join our setting, the successful candidate will work towards the following;
- a strong understanding of Early Years
- be able to plan and carry out a range of age-appropriate learning experiences for children aged 2-5years
- a strong understanding of safeguarding procedures within early years
Duties will include all aspects of caring for young children such as supervising play, mealtimes, hygiene alongside any other duties that befit your role and benefit the children we care for.

Personal qualities
Friendly, trustworthy, reliable and able to communicate effectively with a range of people such as team members, parents/carers, official inspectors and, importantly, children.

Maths & English GCSE grade 4/C or above
If you would like to be considered for a level 3 apprenticeship you will already have achieved a relevant level 2 qualification or have some experience.
Future prospects
There is potential for permanent employment on the successful completion of your apprenticeship.
Things to consider
We would require you to be flexible to cover extra hours during holiday periods, staff illness etc
Some of the work may take place within our out of school club setting caring for children aged 3-11 years.
There are good transport links in the area from Hanley and Leek.
A uniform top is provided however you will need to provide your own black trousers and flat black shoes.
