Tasks include

  • Maintaining the cleanliness of the environment.
  • This includes inside and out.
  • Key person duties with key children, working with them and working with them to achieve their goals.

Things to consider

The National Minimum Wage (NMW) rate for apprentices is £4.30 per hour from 01 April 2021. This applies to 16-18-year-old apprentices and those aged over 19 in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus off the job training

Established in 1982 the setting is led by qualified and experienced professionals qualified in the Montessori method. The school itself is located on the common in East Walton at the end of a country lane. We have a large outside space that is complemented by the recent addition of a Yurt to spend time in doing Yoga and Music.

Early Years Practitioner Level 2 Standard portfolio of evidence of:

  • Knowledge.
  • Skills.
  • Behaviours.

The End Point Assessment (EPA) consists of two distinct assessment methods:

  • Professional discussion supported by portfolio of evidence.
  • Knowledge exam.

Working towards Functional Skills English and maths at level 1 and 2 if required. This will be one day a week for 6 weeks for each subject with an exam at the end.
