A list of your day to day duties includes:

  • Ensure customer enquiries are dealt with within appropriate time scales 
  • Communicate courteously with customers and suppliers by telephone, email, letter and face to face.
  • Investigate and look for resolutions to customers problems.
  • Liaising with publishers to obtain start dates and end dates, renewal of orders and 3rd parties either by telephone, email or face to face.
  • Keeping accurate records of discussions or correspondence with customers.
  • Help increase sales by effectively communicating with customers.
  • Processing cheque payments
  • Processing external orders
  • Contacting customers to discuss the renewal of their order.
  • React to customer enquiries and seek to provide answers and solutions 
  • Share customer enquiries with the team with a focus on improving service
  • Updating in-house reports e.g. refunds, magazine resends, business sales, external orders
  • Working closely with Marketing and Distribution departments to gain further insight into promotions and campaigns that the company is participating in.
  • Learning about the organisations products or services and keeping up to date with changes.
