Responsibility for the day-to-day activities to ensure that the department delivers continual high standards of service to its clients, both internal and external. The main purpose of the administrator role is to work with the project team to support the delivery of projects effectively and to assist and ensure that deliverables are completed.

Role specific:

  • Gathers all project information: schedules, data requests, assignments, tasks, and project meetings (A55 processing)
  • Works with project team to understand and assist with tracking all work, task and project assignments
  • Monitor and modify project schedules as assigned
  • Assists project team in meetings and follow up with meeting notes
  • Schedule projects follow up meetings as needed
  • Order and track materials/equipment to ensure availability for installation dates
  • Land registration checks
  • Network build reservation applications and exports (PIA)
  • Submit power applications and joint use pole applications (WPD)
  • Resident notifications
  • Local authority applications (28 day notices)
  • Monitor Airband software reporting systems. Any other duties that may be deemed appropriate by the business

Project Accounting:

  • Validate and monitor all design and build project related Purchase Orders and DFE budgets. (WAP/Sage)
  • Maintain reports for all 3rd party supplier spend for items outside of PO cover (Traffic Management, CAD drawings, Permits, FPN’s/Street works costs

Core Competencies Financial Management:

  • Understands basic project related costings and monitors spend
  • Understands supplier rate cards and 3rd party supplier billing. Communication and reporting
  • Facilitates team and client meetings effectively
  • Attends regular status meetings with project teams (internal and external)
  • Monitors deliverables with 3rd party suppliers
  • Ensures all progress reports and build details are tracked and stored within the necessary locations (Shared areas/SalesForce) Technical Understanding
  • A basic but clear understanding in the areas covered by Telecoms/Civils builds
  • Basic understanding of all applicable ‘codes of practice’ associated with the implementation of our solutions
  • Basic understanding of our design and build rules and capabilities (internal and external)
