In this role, you will be trained to repair vehicle damage to an exacting standard. You will be working within a wider vehicle repair team and have a dedicated mentor assigned to you. You will have exposure to a range of vehicles and repair methods.

We are looking for individuals who are willing to develop their personal skills in an automotive environment. You should demonstrate a thirst for knowledge, reliability, integrity and dedication to the role. This is an important role in an accident repair centre, which requires theory knowledge and practical ability to complete.

Your training takes place at your designated repair centre and at Thatcham Research’s Automotive Academy, which is recognised as one of the UK’s most highly regarded training centres for accident repair. You will be working towards a level 3 qualification, which includes a variety of additional training within the course. Final assessment takes place at the training centre and on successful completion you achieve a Vehicle damage mechanical, electrical and trim (MET) Level-3 apprenticeship.
Suitable candidates may be entered into UK skills competitions where you can showcase any skills gained.
