This is kitchen position, which will enable a wide range of cooking skills to be developed and offer progression within the business for the right candidate.

Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year.
The minimum wage rates are £5.55 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £6.95 for anyone aged 21 and over.
Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
30 hour contract Sun (5 hours) - 11am – 4pm Mon CLOSED Tue (3:00 hours) - 6pm – 9pm Wed (3:30 hours) - 6pm – 9pm Thu (3:30 hours) - 6pm – 9pm Fri – (7h:30 min) - 10am and 3pm + 6pm- 9pm Sat– (7h:30 min) - 10am and 3pm + 6pm- 9pm

Intermediate Level Apprenticeship
Main Responsibilities and duties for the role:
- Maintaining safe and hygienic working area
- Working effectively in a team
- Maintaining Food safety when storing / preparing and cooking food
This will include production of:
- Rice, Pulse and grain dishes
- Basic Cakes, Sponges and Scones
- Vegetable dishes
- Poultry dishes
- Food suitable for customers with allergies
- Present menu items according to a defined brand standard
This position may also require:
- Completion of kitchen documentation
- Presenting yourself professionally to customers
In order to be successful within the role, the chosen candidate must be self-motivated with the potential of progressing onto an advanced apprenticeship.
The chosen candidate must also have good written and verbal communication skills, show enthusiasm and work well both within in a team or using own initiative.
The candidate will be provided with excellent training opportunities and a structured career development whilst working for a successful, well established organisation.
