To work with the Town Warden on keeping the Town clean and safe for the community.

Main duties will include:

  • Daily checks
  • Grass & hedge cutting
  • Reporting issues in the Town
  • Picking up litter and emptying bins
  • Maintenance of asserts belonging to the Council
  • To assist in completing daily checks of the open areas for signs of anti-social behaviour, broken equipment or anything that is a health and safety risk
  • Report findings to the Office
  • Keep hedges and grass cut in the areas the Town Council is responsible for
  • Water flowers on the High Street during the summer months
  • Maintenance jobs on the buildings the Council own
  • Setting up for events
  • Health and safety checks and risk assessments for events
  • Communicating with the general public, office staff and Councillors
