The role will involve being placed with a senior engineer/mentor throughout your training period, on the job training is provided throughout and you will be field based dealing with a vast range of different customers and systems within homes, businesses, schools, and industrial sites.
Duties will include:
- Shadowing a senior engineer on maintenance and installation tasks and work towards your qualification
- Organise van tools and equipment for the day’s work ahead
- Assisting other engineers to complete work tasks, by loading and un-loading vans, meeting onsite, planning tasks for installation and service
- Assist in the installation of cabling and security/fire alarm systems at domestic and commercial sites
- Work within a team to provide excellent service and quality, using good communication
