Duties will include:
- Act as a member of the staff team, taking full part in all aspects of care of the community of Brothers
- Under the direction of the Manager, Care Leader and experienced staff provide personal care needs and all other care to the highest standards
- Be aware of each individual emotional needs and encourage maximum possible independence and self-determination to provide the greatest quality of life for the individual
- Maintain the quality of the physical environment (including general cleanliness/tidiness) and its contribution to the quality of life and wellbeing for each Brother
- Recognise the importance of food and ensure the best possible quality and presentation including dietary needs
- Carry out allocated housekeeping duties including domestic, catering and laundry
- Maintain a homely environment and atmosphere to the highest possible standards
- Be aware of the importance of relatives and other contacts of the community and ensure that these are welcomed
- Administer medication
