Ram Express are looking to recruit an Engineering Operative Apprentice to assist with the refurbishment and stripping down of hydraulic rams, resealing of parts and repairing of products.

The apprentice will be required to carry out the following duties:
- Stripping down Hydraulic Rams
- Using Lathes, millers and hand tools
- Refurbishing stripped down parts
- Resealing, modifying and testing products
- Repairing products before shipment
Requirements and prospects
- Good time keeping
- Candidate must be 18+ for insurance purposes
- Good Maths skills
- Good verbal and written communications
- Interest in Mechanical Engineering
- Willing to learn
- Good housekeeping
- Willing to adapt
GCSE grade 4 in English and Maths - as a minimum
Full time position working closely with 2 employees on site.

This is a 15 month apprenticeship resulting in a Level 2 Engineering Operative qualification. Training will include attending college one day per week for the duration of the apprenticeship - this will be at In-Comm Training Services in Aldridge, Walsall WS9 8UG. Candidate must be 18+ for insurance purposes.
