Security and Fire Alarm Apprentice Protex Fire and Security Ltd
Applicants will be given internal & external training to carry out surveys, routine maintenance, fault finding, repair & installation of security, CCTV, access control and fire systems. The basic requirements will include: Good understanding of technology (IT & Networks), use of power tools, good organisation and communication skills.

Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
Total hours per week: 42.50
(the hours are based on the candidate being over 18)

Responsibilities will include:
- Installation and service of fire & security systems, this includes large enterprise systems working on prestigious sites
- Interpret and understand proposal documents, schematics and drawings following training
- Accurate and timely completion of all work-related documentation
- Ensure the highest quality of workmanship at all times
- Strong attention to detail and a practical hands on approach
- Maintain adherence to health and safety standards at all times
- Good communication skills and able to interact with the general public in a professional manner

Completing all training tasks allocated during your block release weeks at the training centre and gathering any site evidence needed to supplement your studies. Complete an annual assessment at the training centre and take part in any additional training courses that the company require you to complete.
