Duties will include:

  • All work related to the running and managing a public house
  • Stocking up and stock control
  • Cash handling
  • General cleaning
  • Sales, and service
  • Customer relations
  • Cash handling
  • Cellar management, and beer line cleaning
  • You will serve drinks and food and welcome customers

We work in a convivial environment that can become busy and demanding instantaneously. You must be able to adapt and react calmly and efficiently to these changes. You will be taught by the most professional team in the industry today. Our senior management has over 100 years experience of running a successful public house and restaurant and have been at The old Crown, since 1959.

Future prospects

Things to consider

  • There is an opportunity for the position to be a live in post. Currently, there is a charge of £50.00 per week. This charge includes utilities and the opportunity to take some meals at work. The charge would be deducted from the salary payments

Salary ranges from: 

  • 16/17 yrs. - £5.00/hr
  • 18-20 yrs. - £6.56/hr
  • 21/22 yrs. - £8.36/hr
  • 23 yrs. + - £8.91/hr
