To support the Production Department by contributing to the production of printed matter for both commercial and NHS clients, working closely with all team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency at all times and achieving direct contact supervisors and managers alike.

Effective mechanical competency and operation of all equipment appertaining to the Production Department including colour control software systems and proof matching devices.

Deliver accurate sheets at all times by following internal guidelines and standard operating procedures, following and maintaining accurate protocols including effective use of the job bag/works instruction ticket linked closely to company MIS operating system.

Principal accountabilities and deliverables: 

The following responsibilities will be undertaken as directed by the Print Floor Manager:

  • Provide technical support in lithography
  • Collaborate with colleagues on lithography jobs/projects to produce print editions clients of all kinds
  • Maintain the upkeep of the lithography area, systems, presses and general factory area for the use of colleagues and ensure the smooth and efficient running of the lithography department
  • Maintain the stock of consumable materials for the lithography area
  • Devise and implement research into new and improved lithography practices
  • Provide technical support in making ready and printing all lithographic press’s
  • Work in accordance with organisation wide policies and procedures
  • Perform any other reasonable request issued from the Production/Print Floor Manager
