About the employer

We are a BDA Good Practice member for the last 14 years, always aspiring to achieve high standards of care for our patients. In November 2015, Sandy DentalCare won the Dental Protection Best Practice of the Year award, a nationally recognised award. Since the practice opened in 1991 by the current owner (the principal dentist), it has continued to develop through investment in training and technology.

We have a choice of several dentists, all registered professionals offering a wide range of routine day to day dentistry you would expect from a General Dental Practitioner. Many of our dentists work as self-employed Associates, and whose clinical hours are variable. As an approved practice for Dental Foundation Training, there are also two Foundation Dentists who provide dental care for patients.

The dentists are supported by a team of Receptionists, Dental Nurses and Managers. Many of the staff are very experienced and have been long-serving members of our organisation offering stability, and there are some relatively new members of the group who bring in new ideas.

Our premises are, located on the Market Square, have very accessible services, due to the four surgeries on the ground floor alone. Please ask for assistance while entering the premises if you require facilities such as the use of a portable ramp. Refer to the 'Contact Us' page for more information on how to get in touch with us, to make us aware of your specific needs for when you visit us.

We, the whole team of Sandy DentalCare, are at your service, striving to work hard to provide you with best available advice and treatment you may require for better health. Most treatments are completed within the practice, and on occasions, NHS or private referral services are options for patients.
