Responsibilities include:

  • You will need a good knowledge of forest schooling and how it benefits children 
  • Knowledge of planning model and the EYFS is essential
  • Using our online hub, for tracking and observations; the need to be IT literate is essential
  • Make sure the main room meets and excels in the areas of the Statutory Framework: remains safe for children, kept clean etc.
  • Delegate tasks and support your team's development, whilst ensuring the children in your care are developing well and have the best opportunities accessible to them at all times
  • You will be knowledgeable in school readiness and the ability to get children school ready for their big transition
  • Give strong support to both the management team as well as your fellow room leaders to ensure you are all achieving the same goals and sharing a drive for success
