Main responsibilities will include:

  • Monitor and ensure all vehicle information input is accurate and that registration and lot numbers match
  • Ensure that all sale day processing is conducted in line with company procedures
  • Provide an excellent face-to-face front of house and telephone service to customers
  • Complete any project work that is expected from you
  • Action any issues, queries or complaints arising so that any problems are resolved, in a timely fashion, to all parties’ satisfaction as far as is reasonably practicable
  • Escalate any complex issues to the relevant manager
  • Undertake cross-functional tasks within the business where necessary to meet operational requirements
  • Undertake ad-hoc tasks as necessary to meet the business needs and for your own personal development

Future prospects

BCA are looking to develop future leaders. If the successful candidate achieves a minimum of a 2:1 in their degree, they will be invited to join the BCA Fast-Track Management Programme

This will see them in a national rotational role for 12 months gaining experience in BCA divisions such as: Vehicle Services, Fleet Solutions, Logistics, Commercial Sales, Automotive and Remarketing.

Level 6 Chartered Manager Degree apprenticeship standard:

  • Working in partnership with The Open University, the Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship provides apprentices with higher level management skills, core competencies and desired behaviours to create leaders that can drive performance and productivity improvements
  • It is a work-based learning programme combining on and off-the-job learning and development. It delivered flexibly around the demands of the job role, using tutor-supported, rich-media online learning methods
  • Learning can be accessed 24/7 on computers, tablets and mobile devices. Online forums and discussion groups allow apprentices to learn from different industries and backgrounds
  • The Apprenticeship is for the 3 year duration and, on successful completion, you will achieve a BA (Hons) in Management Practice
  • You will also receive a full company induction, presentation skills training and training in workplace Health and Safety and GDPR
