We are looking for someone who has a passion for engineering and manufacturing, fast to learn new skills, good team player with ability to adapt and overcome problems easily. Some core base qualifications in maths and English and a determination to succeed.

Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

Level 3 (A level)
- Conventional Milling
- Using grinding machines
- Using bench fitting techniques and hand tools
- Understand drawings and working to customer specifications
- Learning how to work safely around machinery
Learning how to use preventative measures before running a machine
Requirements and prospects
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to work as part of a team as well as using own initiative
In order to be successful within this role you must be able to demonstrate the following:
- Genuine interest in Engineering/Manufacturing
- Good time keeping
- Practical nature, someone who will enjoy a hands-on role
GCSE or equivalent grade C/4 or above in maths & English
However if you have grade 3, we will support you in functional skills.

Level 3 Apprenticeship in Engineering Technician which is a 42-month programme where you will receive on the job training and be required to attend LEMA Academy 1 day per week and block weeks.
