In this role, you will enjoy a period of training covering network through to cloud infrastructure support to cyber security.  You will become familiar with leading vendor best practices and gain the ability to automate infrastructure support with various tools.You will also develop skills cyber security, including BLUE (defence) and RED (aggressor) team abilities.In this varied and challenging role, you will be involved with internal project and working to develop and consistently improve processes and services.

Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:

  • Building of Endpoint machines
  • Endpoint user support
  • Cloud based Infrastructure administration
  • Monitoring and alerting of security/infrastructure issues
  • Monitoring of support queues
  • Adhering to change control processes
  • Involvement with internal projects
  • Building internal PowerApp applications

The Estio Training programme gives young people the opportunity to get hands on experience in the IT industry whilst still employed in a real paid job with no cost or debt.

Learners will receive technical training online. Whilst in the workplace, apprentices will also receive continual coaching, help and guidance from a dedicated team who will be there to ensure that they get the most from their work experience.

This apprenticeship will give you a Level 3 Information Communication Technician Standard with training in areas such as:

  • Functional skills, maths L2 and English L2
  • Introduction to IT Support
  • Stability and Resilience
  • Testing and Problem Solving
  • Introduction to Networks
  • Security
  • Cloud Systems
  • Support Teams
