Electric Centre seeks to bring a new approach to customer service in the world of electrical wholesaling harnessing the power of our local branch network, expertise and relationships with suppliers.

We are looking for a highly motivated apprentice to join our busy team. After full training your responsibilities will include:

  • Picking/Packing orders ready for delivery/loading van
  • Checking goods in
  • Housekeeping of warehouse
  • Use of warehouse equipment
  • Stock Take
  • Supporting the Trade counter
  • Forklift work (Counterbalance and reach)

Completing a Supply Chain Warehouse Apprenticeship Lv2, consisting of:

  • Competence/Knowledge qualification in Warehouse at Level 2
  • Functional Skills in maths/ English
  • End Point Assessment - final test, observation and discussion

The vocational and academic training aspects are separated and delivered by separate teams. The vocational training and assessment is conducted, more often than not, on site according to the employers wishes.

Notice of dates is agreed well in advance of a site visit.

Training and assessment is conducted both on and off the job, according to the needs of the course and the learner. Every effort is made to ensure the best result is achieved by the learner.
