Apprentice Welder / Fabricator required for the manufacture of environmental tanks.  The role will include:

  • Learning to read and interpret drawings to understand work specifications
  • Assist other welders in cleaning up the fabrication areas and setting up for the next job
  • Prepare all materials and surfaces that need to be welded and ensure there is no rust areas
  • Use basic hand tools – angle grinder, hand drill and bandsaw
  • Assist tacking up machines with a skilled Fabricator welder and learning the process of different models
  • Setting up the welding machines for different thickness materials
  • Assist with folding parts and understanding the process
  • Mig welding small components
