Level 2 (GCSE)
We are looking to employ a driven young chef who is looking for progression in the cooking industry. We offer good rates of pay with tips on top of this - you will be working with a small but very passionate group who will push you in order to help you achieve your goals.
Duties will include :
- Plating up dishes
- Food preperation
- Cleaning down sections
- Following recipies
- Dealing with delivery and stock rotation
- Following food hygine and saftey practices

Progression within the business will be assessed and reviewed on successful completion of the apprenticeship.

About the employer
We are a Dartmoor thatched Inn on the edge of Okehampton and Tavistock specializing in good food. We base our menu's on refined pub classics and our service is knowledgeable but relaxed.
CITY COLLEGE PLYMOUTH

You will attend college one day per week (term time) for this apprenticeship where you will gain valuable skills and knowledge to start your chef career. You will also recieve training from the business during your time with them.
All training to be provided by City College Plymouth in collaboration with the company themselves throughout the duration of the apprenticeship.
