The successful candidate will also be required to study for Level 3 Digital Marketer (Standard) Apprenticeship qualification.

 

You will be working in a buzzing creative environment from the off and will receive valuable on-the-job experience. Whether you’re already in employment or entering the workplace for the first time, this apprenticeship role and qualification is ideal to kick-start your marketing career.

 

Tasks and responsibilities include: 

  • Control and organise the day-to-day running of social media accounts for a variety of companies

  • Work closely with the Creative Director to create social media campaigns

  • Assist and help develop engaging online video, audio and photo content

  • Social media interaction (with guidance)

  • Nurturing marketing/sales funnels

  • Day-to-day general office admin duties


Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

  • Knowledge of common social media sites (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Twitter etc)

  • Experience/knowledge of updating websites via Content Management Systems (CMS), specifically Wordpress

  • Basic knowledge of PPC, SEO, SEM and/or Google Analytics

  • Knowledge/experience of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, InDesign and Illustrator)

  • Confident and outgoing with strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Competent ICT user across multiple platforms

  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team

Desired qualifications

 

Ideally, applicants should have a minimum GCSE qualification in Maths and English at Grade C (4) although this is not a prerequisite for this position. Full clean driving license essential.

This is an interactive and practical course which will take approximately 18 months to complete.

  • Digital Marketing Apprenticeship Standard level 3
  • Learners will benefit from a blended delivery approach through workshops, digital learning platform, tutorials and webinars. Assessment is by workplace observations, practical tasks at work, answering questions plus an End Point Assessment which includes a portfolio, multiple choice knowledge test and a professional discussion
  • An Apprentice is expected to spend 20% of their working hours completing off the job training
  • As part of the Apprenticeship you will be required to hold or achieve the equivalent of L2 Functional Skills in English and maths
