You day to day duties will involve installation, servicing and fault-finding of fire & security systems.

Upon completion you will be a qualified fire and security engineer competent in the installation, maintenance and fault finding of fire and security system in a number of varied environments.

Future prospects

On completion of the apprenticeship a permanent position will be available for dedicated & competent individuals as a service or installation engineer following which further progression within the business will be possible into various different departments within the business.

What SFS do:

  • Completing all training tasks allocated during your block release weeks at the training centre and gathering any site evidence needed to supplement your studies
  • Complete an annual assessment at the training centre and take part in any additional training courses that the company require you to complete

Employer / On the Job training:

  • Safe friendly and supportive environment for the development of apprentice’s engineers
  • On the job and in house training provided by experience / qualified fire and security engineers
  • Manufacture and external training provider training on site, at providers location and at AFS head office
