Your daily duties will include but not be limited to:

  • To provide Care in accordance with current best practice, according to policy and procedures, agreed standards, legislative requirements, relevant regulations under the direction of the Manager
  • To provide support to family, friends and other healthcare professionals to promote collaborative working
  • To support Management in the effective delivery of excellent quality of care
  • To be kind, understanding, compassionate and caring at all times
  • Address as a first point of call any complaints and where necessary to escalate to Management
  • Assist clients with personal care as required
  • Assist in the assessment of care records when required
  • Be flexible and open to change in the delivery of care
  • Develop effective communication and relationships with clients and other family support networks
  • Encourage clients where possible to promote independence and explore new grounds eg hobbies
  • Ensure that clients rights are protected at all times
  • Identify and Report incidents as soon as they happen eg abuse
  • Maintain confidentiality of clients and staff at all times
  • Prompt medication as required
  • Record relevant activities in the required logs accurately and factually eg Visit Logs, Incident logs
  • Support a work atmosphere which promotes a high quality of work life
  • Support and maintain a culture of performance and excellence
  • Support clients to maintain their independence, integrity and dignity at all times
  • To carry out impromptu or adhoc duties as directed by Registered Manager
  • Work collaboratively with Management and Team Leaders to promote Best Practice
  • Work in accordance to guidance as set in the organisational Health and Safety Policy
  • Work with other carers to share Best Practice
  • Assist in the formulation and implementation of Care policies and procedures
  • Develop effective working relationships with other employees within Medical Partnerships
  • Encourage health promotion strategies
  • Encourage innovative methods for the delivery of care

  • Participate in the development of Medical Partnership’s policies

Medical Partnerships was established in 2001 and was pretty much a family run business. It is now under new management, building upon a solid foundation since 2018 and is thriving. Our care includes personal care, making light meals and mutual support to help clients avoid hospitals or care homes and continue living independently at home.
