We are currently recruiting for a Digital Marketing Apprentice to support all aspects of marketing including websites and social media accounts, along with general daily duties to ensure we deliver an excellent service to customers. We require an individual with the desire to help grow the business, to find new leads, build our brand and increase conversation and engagement. If you are up for the challenge, your responsibilities will include:

Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:

  • Growing the company social media accounts, making regular posts and manage e-communications
  • Engaging with customers and pushing the Brand to help lead generation and customer retention
  • Researching Industry competition
  • Understanding platforms that are going to be most beneficial and tailoring messaging to reach a target audience
  • Assist with raising the company’s profile with email marketing campaigns
  • Brainstorming ideas which may include ideas for posts, writing posts, scheduling posts, and analysing engagement
  • Assist with compiling external and Internal newsletters
  • Weekly and Monthly Analytics and forecasting
  • Plan, manage and execute a calendar of activity
  • Content creation such as testimonials and Case studies

Marketing will be the focus of the role, but the individual will also be expected to support with various additional adhoc admin/IT related duties, such as (but not limited to):

  • Maintain manual and computerised records/management information systems
  • Supporting team with a variety of ad hoc duties as required

Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

  • Ability to work in a team and also be a self-starter.
  • A strong competence in ICT, with familiarity in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) knowledge of Photoshop / InDesign desirable but not essential.
  • A positive and forward-thinking attitude with a ‘can do’ approach to tasks.
  • Self-motivated and able to work both independently and with the director.
  • Good articulation, writing and creative thinking skills.

The Estio Training programme gives young people the opportunity to get hands on experience in the IT industry whilst still employed in a real paid job with no cost or debt.

Learners will receive technical training online. Whilst in the workplace, apprentices will also receive continual coaching, help and guidance from a dedicated team who will be there to ensure that they get the most from their work experience.

This apprenticeship will give you a Level 3 Digital Marketer Standard with training in areas such as:

  • Functional skills, maths Level 2 and English Level 2
  • Google Fundamentals/Analytics
  • Content Marketing
  • Principles of Coding
  • Marketing Principles
  • Digital Marketing Upskilling Toolbox

Some of these modules will include an option to take an examination in order to receive a professional certificate.
