About the employer

Chef Gan grew up in Thailand and learned her skills cooking for the family after school. Later when living away from home attending university every day I watched the street traders work their craft, prepare and cook adjusting the flavours to taste. When Gan moved to the UK keen to use the skills learned and create a more affordable version of my traditional food in the UK and came up with The ThaiWay opening a catering van with a difference in Hoveton, followed by party and event bookings. After seven years of working the van Gan realised her dream of bringing the real taste of Thailand to my new home here in Hoveton, opening in January this year The Thaiway Restaurant.
