  • All reception tasks; taking calls from patients, booking appointments, directing enquiries Supporting clinicians by preparing blood forms, handing out medication.
  • Processing new patient registrations and removals
  • Records movement – processing incoming and outgoing medical records Filing medical records
  • Scanning paper correspondence, uploading to patient records, coding and assigning to appropriate staff member

GP surgeries are a fast paced environment and the work involves access to lots of highly sensitive and confidential information. Candidates must be suitably professional.

We cannot offer an apprenticeship to a candidate who is a patient registered at the surgery.

 


About the employer

We are busy GP Surgery based over two sites in the villages of Hatfield Peverel and Boreham, offering primary care services to 10,700 patients.

The team is made up of GPs, nurses, health care assistants, phlebotomists, a paramedic practitioner, social prescribers, clinical pharmacists, physiotherapists, dispensers, managers, administrators and receptionists.

We have a small dispensary on site, and we are a training practice for doctors completing their training to become GPs.
