Working alongside trained staff to learn and develop as a field service technician. Work will include electrical & mechanical installation and repair as well as fault diagnosis. All technicians are multi-skilled and provide full lifecycle services from installation through to service and maintenance and often decommissioning before replacing with updated machines.

While following all Health & Safety rules and procedures is necessary, as a field service technician you will be expected to have an accurate and methodical approach to your work and place high importance on customer satisfaction. The work will be physically demanding. Travel will be all over the UK & Ireland with periods away from home but with time, opportunities to travel worldwide. As well as training within our UK, facility there will be opportunity to train at the company HQ in Europe.

This apprenticeship will be delivered through a mixture of college and work-based learning. Successful candidates will attend our Printworks Campus one day per week to learn the skills/knowledge required to be successful within this role.

They will also receive a visit once a month in their place of work from their assessor, where delivery will take place on a one-to-one basis.

In addition, learners will need to be allocated 20% of their contracted hours per week to concentrate on any development activities set.
